... there was surprisingly quick and helpful as within about 30 minutes we exchanged a number of messages via e-mail. YHA won’t let you book the day before, but this CIYH person recommended I try Hostelworld, which turned out to be a great choice, thanks also to PayPal. ... went back to Tongcheng, but this time to a McDonald's where at the McCafe I ordered a Mocha frappacino for 28 RMB (about 10 RMB less than a similar one at Starbucks) then over to the regular counter and got a double burger with bacon, lettuce and tomato, then back to enjoy both at the McCafe, where the drink was soon ready. ... always call it Rongwanzhen, which I suspect is the Hunan dialect’s (Xiangese) name for the place.
