... so no pics will do it justice (I took video though). So instead of a snow pic, I have attached a special photo I took today at the zoo.
Then after that excitement I got the funicular up to the fortress and my battery died after 3 photos so they are not very good but it was worth it to get a video of the Pumas.
Now am hoping for some sun tomorrow which is my last day in Salzburg. I wanna see those magnificent mountains.

Although no snow, I'm almost as excited about the prospect of seeing some sun tomorrow, as I have not seen one bit of sun since I left Sydney. The last tiny patch of blue sky I saw poking through clouds was in London, but haven't seen the orb since I left home. I'm doing the touristy places tomorrow so hopefully I will have some amazing views ahead of me.
... The Original Sound of Music Tour'!. It was a cold morning. I think it was the coldest morning we encountered during our travels. At 6 degrees C most of the day, it was cold sitting on in the square waiting for the tour to commence. Finally, someone came to find us and we were in the shuttle being taken from the old town to the new Mirabelle to get onto the coach bus waiting for the tour.

Once the requisite pictures were taken, Cheryl and I wandered down the long lane to the villa and decided to do a tour of the water fountains. Good (uh no) GREAT call. The water fountains were spectacular and amazing not only because of the sheer beauty of some of the fountains, but because of the amazing technology that was created several hundred yaers ago to run the fountains.
