      Our first couple of nights in Greece were spent in a place called Alexandroupolis where we had found a campground that was open, which turned out to be a bit of a wonder in Greece, but it gave us the time to have an admin day, catch up on emails, blogs and also to do some washing.

      Whilst there, we also caught up with some of the Dutchies that we had met in Turkey (travelling in an off-road expedition truck) and also met some Germans who were on their way ...

      ... which is really cheap considering what is in this place and plenty of lockers to leave stuff in. Joy, being aware of how hot she gets in most galleries while she is writing her notes, divested of her coat, hat, gloves and thick aran cardigan and placed them carefully in the locker with her DSLR camera just carrying in handbag and tablet. A nice set of stairs to the first floor greets one on entry - love galleries in Italy, they are designed to keep line fit! ...

      ... Piazza has a great marble statue of Raphael, and Liam had to pay his respects of course, and then build his own little snowman (see the photos on face book) before trying his hand at tree hugging. Honestly, he seems to have more fun than we do sometimes!
