... in the nearby area, but there was a convenient 7-11 at a stone's throw. We treated ourselves to 12 tequila shots, which took us no more than an hour to kill. The drinks were clear, a quality I am often fussy about when it comes to drinking. This perhaps also explains why I am not particularly fond of, though not reluctant to savour, red wine. I think my body just switched automatically to Airplane Mode when I finished my last shot.

The Din Tai Fung, original dumpling house is on this street, and although tempting the wait was an hour, and there were plenty of other places to eat so we wandered down and found another dumpling place.
