    ... area called Daan, where I live and that has top infrastructure.

    Too more curious information:

    - On Taoyuan airport a Jumbo jet parked at the gangway was lifted 50 cm off the ground by the wind

    - The 900ton damper in Taipei 101, one of the world highest buildings moved the most ever for hours - up to one meter.

    ... and there was a lot of walking, especially at the university, where we had walk down the long drive to the library. The library was the least interesting place we visited - kids were in the 9-13 year age range mostly, so not that into looking at buildings!

    Day 3 was much more fun - a visit to the Vigor Kobo pineapple factory, where we got to make our own pineapple cakes, then shop ...

    ... br> After doing a few laps of the lanes myself I finally found somewhere I dared try. It was a large stall with a friendly lady who handed me a plastic basket, telling me to fill it with as much veg and tofu as I could fit in. She then asked if I wanted any meat to go with it. Beef sounded like the best option, so the lady handed my basket to her mate who then fried the lot up for me. I was then told to help myself to rice from a large vat, and to get stuck into ...

    On July 31, it was a very hot day. Everyone walked with umbrella to protect themselves from sunlight. My parents bought to three of us ice cream. I felt happy and sad at the same time because only two days left. I didn't know what we would visit. Finally, I saw soldiers who did a ...
