A minibus pulled up after ages and people started getting in but there wasn't room for us. We ended up waiting at least 2 hours which was such rubbish as they must have messed up the numbers. ... are now all based in Lumpinee park and as you go over this on the sky train it's possible to see what's going on. It looks very much like a festival and has been described as such in the media, big tv screens, hundreds of tents, food stalls, people milling around. I do wonder if these people have jobs they should be doing. There is a bit of violence now and again but it's confined to this area and as the voting is now over and they are awaiting the results there is not much happening. ...

And if you pay 300 believe me it'll save waiting in the queue and he'll push in front give the officer your passport and some dough which the corrupt officer will take and hey presto! Your sorted!! But then you find you'll still wait an hour with everyone else for your minibus to Koh Chang... It doesnt leave ...
