I was not expecting what this place was when we showed up. That was a walk up the side of a mountain.... one of many in the area. When we crested the top a few of us went to a multi-leveled pagoda and walked to ...

Tim and I have enjoyed our own eating adventures. We went to another Chinese tea with some of the staff at a different hotel last Saturday with lots of delicious dishes. Rosa, the Korean translator and IE teacher at school invited 4 of us to her home for a traditional Korean meal – more delicious food ...

... travel across to Sichuan to see some national parks and climb some mountains (and see the pandas OFC), before making my way into Yunnan via the Sichuan-Tibetan Highway. I'll be spending a lot of time at altitude which isn't my favourite, but the scenery will be rewarding. In Yunnan I'll be spending time in some ethnic minority villages and seeing some more beautiful scenery, hopefully the rice terraces, Lugu Lake and Tiger Leaping Gorge. But let's see what I can fit in!
