    ... is the Po Lin Monastery, the monks who live here organised the build of the big Buddha. Everywhere around you you see people light incense sticks, big and small! And praying to the Buddhas present at the monastery. The monastery is built in Chinese style with beautiful colours. Inside there are different rooms for the different Buddhas. One of the rooms was filled up with 10,000 Buddhas, all over the room, very impressive and beautiful!

    ... it was definitely worth it. There are lots of little alleyways going up steps which market stalls along them. I love looking at the food stalls.     ... is had in a popular casual restaurant chain.. " Yoshinoya" originating in Japan some 100 years plus ago, it is just as popular all across Asia& the USA.. seems Hot Pots were popular tonight but I settle for a beef, chicken & veges on the famous pearl rice.. Yum!

    So today one has been tutored, educated, walked in the shoeprints of true locals, dined with them and look forward to seeing them all again tomorrow... Bring it on...
