... from small sampans to fishing boats, house boats (complete with washing machine), luxury 'yachts' and a huge floating restaurant. Nearly dying of the heat, I had to stop in at a market store and purchase a floaty dress to put on, only to find when I got home that it was rather see-through! In Hong Kong we had a nine hour layover, and thankfully the tour had organized for us to be in the Premiere Executive Lounge so we could relax, eat and shower. (Side note: As a person who travels cheap and is used to long waits in airports, paying for a lounge when you have a long wait is the way ...

... mid summer. I'm going to loose weight just by sweating it off.

So I run towards China Mobile and I get hit by a cold blast of air. Yessssss! I could have easily stood there for a while, but I was already getting weird looks. The store was empty except for 3 workers. I was approached my a young guy, probably just our of high school. I mentally cringe 5 minutes later when all I can get out of the guy is "I don't know". Seriously? They had English from grade ...
