So I just made it to china! The flight from Heathrow was good (as good as it gets for economy) the plane looked new and the food wasn't too bad. Saw some amazing colours in the sky through the night, pinks and purples brighter than I have ever seen. Didn't manage to sleep much. I'm now in Guangzhou airport ...

The checkin opened at 7:30 and it was busy. After getting our boarding passes we went though security and immigration to arrive at the Premium lounge. Had a quick bite and relaxed and getting some work done in the comfortable chairs (like the ones at the door massage places). Had a quick shower to get ready for the red eye flight to ...

The Guangzhou airport lack serious seating so good thing Air China First Class check in counter as ...

So, they charged me 15 yuan for the lunch and let me ride for free. As we were going along the plot thickened. There ...

One last early start, up at 5.00 to be at the airport by 6.00. It was a 2 1/2 hour flight through to Guanghzhou and with an hour's time difference we arrived at 11.30. We only had a two hour transit time before boarding again, time for the kids to catch up on diaries and for a quick lunch. The Dreamliner flight back was only just over 10 hours, and due to the time difference we ...
