After the zoo, we took the metro to the area closer to our hotel to see the Temple of the Six Banyan Trees. By now it was getting dark and we were beat. Visited the Museum to the 1911 Revolution and the Mausoleum to the 72 martyrs. All brilliantly done and very informative, but a bit Sun-Yat-Sen-ed out now!

Enjoying the streets for Chinese New Year tomorrow with people carrying and transporting miniature orange trees, bunches of gladioli and pussy-willow, huge plastic flower windmills and young men and women wearing yellow chicks in their hair - only in China!
