... i have to admit that im totally a layman,i cant draw.but i think everyone should learn how to appeciate art such as painting and calligraphy especially for our Chinese whose country has a five-thousand's long history.there are plenty cultural relics and intangible cultural heritage we have to pass down.it's one of the obligations of our young generation.
but it's really a pity that Zhuhai Museum is a little bit modern and lack of history and ...
... of Macau's lengthy bridges, illuminated at night.
Time is running short so we then cab it to the historic part of the Macau Peninsula - our cabbie drops us off at the Largo do Senado, which has a nice wavy pattern in the square going on.The main streets of the old town are throughly buzzing and the onslaught of modern commercialism is apparent with the many Hong Kong fashion outlets and fast food chains - I finally ...
... say if that has anything to do with why they want to “whiten up".
Efforts to keep out to the sun are so strong here that they have also influenced us over the past 4 months. I realized I was getting very little direct sun so I only decided last week to ‘sneak ‘ up to the roof everyday to get 10-15 of direct sunshine where people won’t look at me like I’m crazy. The other day Sabrina sat outside ...
... and Sundays. We learned how to make Dumplings at a new friend's house. We all had a lot of difficulty making the dumplings to stand up. After making dumplings for an hour we cooked them and we all ate them together. While eating dumplings my parents asked about the one child policy because they have two children. They told us that you must pay 6,296.00 Canadian dollars. I think ...
Zhuhai, Guangdong, China sabrinapm...

Macau, Macau lila... is still the Portuguese style buildings like the ruins of St Paul's church but right behind it is the huge new Lisboa Casino building! Bit of a mad contrast! We did of course enjoy some fantastic Portuguese food at Fernando's restaurant on Coloane...(yummy bachalau assado!!), and paid a few visits to several of the new casino's including Sands and The Venetian - no big wins to report unfortunately!!
Macau, China jimandmargarida... how to manage (or hide from) her. We had a traditional Chinese dinner tonight ... luckily, I stuck to my eat first and ask later approach. We started with Sea Blubber (jelly fish) and Shark Fin Soup. Both were really good but I do have to admit the Sea Blubber had a very odd texture. Our fish dish was served with the head still on ... don't want to miss out on the cheek meat! The exchange rate here is $7.70 Hong Kong dollars to 1 US Dollar ... it's a ...
Hong Kong, Hong Kong jenk... alcohol). Somewhere between dinner and one of the casinos we have a small music video on Jen's camera w/ he and I dancing in front of the fountain show. We only gambled for 10 minutes. I put $100 HK in the slot machine and just pushed a bunch of buttons. I walked out w/ $148 9 minutes later. By the way, the casino was gorgeous. I felt like I was in a James Bond movie at a casino in the Mediterranean. We raced to the ferry and caught the last one back to HK.
