... felt very long indeed, as though we would never get there... But eventually we did. The road across to the island was dry, and we parked up in what appeared to be the only car park on the small island. Leaving the car behind we set off on the one mile walk to Lindisfarne Castle. ... first ball with an awesome 4. Unfortunately 2nd ball he again went the slog and got bowled!
He then kept for the first half and did well, we eventually got them all out, and a few extras (I think we let them bat 12 or 13) for 118. Westy was a stand out, his 100 no, bowled 3 and took a great catch. Whilst it ended up being an easy game the boys still got a lot out of it as they settle into playing ...
