Corinth In June
... there was no bustle, nor did the atmosphere improve as the evening approached. I wanted a light meal, and could only find cafe bars and a couple of fast food places. Corinth has never been especially good for tavernas because it is a commercial port. It has several small bars and cafes but the number of traditional tavernas seems to have dwindled year ...
By bus to Tolo, the slow scenic route
... Astros paralia by the sea. This is the more touristy place, and in the hot sun, was lovely. I knew I could not stay long, so wandered along the jetty and back, then chose one of the cafe-bars with a large seating area and comfortable cushioned chairs, to enjoy a coffee until it was time to move on.

De sprong naar de Cycladen
Charisma, Charisma, Charisma!
... most of the clear night to enjoy the view over Poros, all lit up and looking beautiful, the night sky, the stars were out in force and the peacefulness of the bay. At about midnight and after a few glasses of wine (we had by now run out of gin, Amanda and I were all ready to board the next gin palace that went by and claim salvage on their gin!!) Nick decided to get the dingy out to see the phosphorescence in the water. It was amazing every time you splashed in the ...
