      I am getting soft. I was going to go from Bucharest to here ( Belgrade ) by getting a train to Drobeta- Turnu Severin (the Romanian town on the most direct route between Bucharest and Belgrade ) and walking across the power dam there and then trying my luck to get a ride to Belgrade once on the Serbian side of the Danube. But everyone said "NO, too hard. There is no town directly on the other side, just a secondary road and a national park". ...
