    ... 2nd leg, Partizan relieved to be back on level terms. There was to be a winner though, and the Partizan deservedly grabbed it with 70 minutes on the clock. It was another own goal, but the home support didn't care! The ground erupted! "OOOOOH, PARTIZANI!!" they chanted as the comeback was complete. They would go on to win the 2nd leg and qualify comfortably (and ironically draw spurs in the group stages, could I be set for a third trip to Belgrade???) The next day ...

We left pula in Croatia on an overnight bus to the Serbia capital Belgrade.
