... schnitzel that was again disappointing. Funny how you travel to their origin and they are just not the same as Newcastle's schnitzels. We have told everyone they need to come and have one of ours! And then a mousse to finish. We have an incredibly long and early day tomorrow to get to Venice so we are all going to bed pretty early. Today was a bit of a short day but we still did a fair bit. 3 countries in 1 day is not too bad!! Good night all and will talk tomorrow ...

... the lake and that was enough, it was lunch time so we walked back towards the subway we have used. Next to the park a few streets away we picked a small but busy restaurant. Just a top spot, inexpensive because it was out of the way, but packed with locals, we are welcomed in and three chairs are found and a very pleasant few hours spent having lunch in a nice atmosphere. There are several places in the centre of Innsbruck that I would recommend visiting. There is the city tower which costs €3.5 entry and gives you an incredible view of the city and the surrounding mountains, however just to warn you the steps are quite steep!
