... seated. They have a tiny little spot where you can bag your groceries, and yes, you always have to bag your own (Angela, you would not be impressed!). I think it's likely not an issue for most as they shop every other day so their loads are small. For us, we try to get it all done at once, which means the people behind us sigh waiting while we try to bag our things. We were supposed to take the cable cars and cog wheel train to Alpspix and Zugspitz for Adrian's birthday but it snowed overnight and both mountains were covered in cloud. We had to come up with a plan B and found the very pretty town of Mittenwald was close by. The buildings in this part of Bavaria are painted with murals which is quite different to other areas.
