And it's true! I did feed an elephant on Wednesday! And apparently they eat whole bananas! The peel, the stem, the works! What a cool experience. When else would I have been able to do that? Thanks Up With People!
Wednesday was our regional learning day in Cottbuss, Germany. Some people went to the Vattanfall coal mines (what I did on Sunday), some went on a city tour, and others went to visit a castle.

Unfortunately, its military were no match against the bombs that destroyed Dresden on April 17, 1945. The bombing, initiated by the Royal Air Force and the United States Army Air Force, destroyed over 90% of inner Dresden.
One of the buildings we visited, a large church, was almost completely destroyed in the bombing. Organizations from all over the world began to ...

I went out to their friend´s bar and then to a night club where we danced the night away. We enjoyed breakfast at his friend´s restaurant in the morning and I caught my train to Bremen, Germany where I would start my week long MBA study abroad program. Photos to be posted once I am back.

Somewhere between Berlin and Dresden, Germany glitterhairdye... clean and tidy town not that I had expected anything less. It was just that some of those towns in the Ruhr area looked a bit shabby especially at the stop in Dusseldorf. We reached the Moselle river along which were tied up those very large cruise ships...very like the one we took on the Nile. Customers were being boarded as we watched. Lots of oldies about to go on 12 day Rhine cruises. We walked along the embankment towards The Eck, the corner ...
