... overwhelming in terms of its animation and detail. I mean, they had over 225,000 figures, 230,000 trees and some multiple thousand vehicles along with lights and light effects everywhere. They had the overhead lighting on a 24 hour clock that cycled about every 15 minutes, so you could watch the sun rise, experience daylight, then watch the sun set and be night time. We didn't walk the two main malls full of great shops or explore the buildings in the new city. We will return. Day 3: 1/7/15 Goodbye Hamburg and North We didn’t rush, as we ...

Went to see where they repair. Lufthansa and customer plans. Couldn't take pictures inside, but neat facility. Got up close to 747 being overhauled. Saw two 747 for a middle Easter rich guy, being outfitted. In all a cost of about a billion dollars. Enjoyed some free time in Hamburg Olster Lake. Rode on a solar powered ...

... When we musted up the energy to get off the bus, we had coffee and fish for dinner on the harbour. The harbour is the port of Hamburg on the Elbe river, which is known as Germany's "gateway to the world". After dinner, we went for a long walk through the blumen gardens and towards Reeperbahn street, where we stopped in the sex shops and bought a few souvenirs ;). We didn't end up going out afterwards because we were pretty ******.
