... Szczecin. The city was originally in German territory and called 'Stettin', but after WW2 it was given to Poland, who in turn changed the city name to something completely unpronounceable.

At this point, that's all I have to report. More pictures to follow once I get a german cell phone sorted out. Having T-mobile and Lebara sim cards sent here so I'll see which gets the best coverage. It's 15:45 here now, and already the sun is starting to go down, so I'm going to get out and enjoy it while I can!

Another RE train ride took us to Chorin - the site of a ruined monastery which you can walk along a clearly marked trail from the station through some woods to get to. Again, very pretty location where, during the summer, you can attend concerts. Now tell me that a monastery isn't a great place for that :)

... was it with Sweden. So, the next morning, I headed towards the port just under 400miles south to catch a ferry to Germany, which is the country you now find me in.

My original plan had been to go to Poland, but my camper stop book does not cover Poland, the budget doesn't cover staying in a campsite every night, and I'm not too sure how I feel about sleeping on the side of the road in Poland, so I opted out and changed course to head south through Germany.

... w Polsce!Bylam bardzo mile zaskoczona warunkami- cieplo i slonko! A jednak mozna:) Pozniej jeszcze trafilismy do Swinoujscia, Miedzyzdrojow i do Niemiec na Rugie- bardzo pozytywnie:)!
Zima jest u nas straszna- 8 miesiecy w kurtce zimowej, ale jak juz przychodzi wiosna- jest super!
Wykorzystujac urlop bezplatny jaki nam przysluguje na stazu, wyjezdzam do mojej ulubionej hiszpanskiej Tarify:)
