Today we left Vienna very early to travel through the rich farmlands of eastern Austria past lakes and mountains. ... drove the 300km to Amsberg, in the SE of Germany where we dropped the car off and were collected by the lovely Kari Anne who took us home , handed over the keys to Dulcie who was waiting faithfully for us at the kerb, despite wearing a couple of band-aids over her battle-scars, and then went out to a fabulous little local Italian restaurant where we had a sensational meal, a few drinks, and received a bill of 60€ ($ 90) for the 4 of us.... What a contrast to Oslo!
