... was very good, and I got a salad with the local farmer’s cheese. I didn’t know what to expect but the cheese was melted with a crispy crust and just delicious. I’m thinking I could cut a small wheel into thin slices and crisp it up in a fry pan.

We headed back to the bus. The girl suggested we “hide under the tree” (from the rain) where we were intermingled with a bunch of MSC passengers. When they left there ...

We have the opportunity on this cruise to spend one more day in Greece. This time it is the island of Corfu. The weather is hot and sunny and although not planned, we decided to bring the bikes out and go for a ride in Greece. ... stories. I loved how he gave all the characters their own voice! He was awesome. Our tour began with a 30 minute scenic drive to reach the first stop at the Kum Quat Factory. We learnt how the Kum Quats are harvested and tasted the local products. Our next stop was the bay of Paleokastritsa where we boarded a small boat to view the caves. The water was a stunning turquoise colour, there were many fish and the colour of the coral was breathtaking. After a 30 ...

... and not heading the way we needed to go. He however did drop us off at an actual taxi stand, told the driver where we needed to go and how much to charge us and wouldn’t accept any money for his help – the Albanian’s are generally the most lovely people we’ve come across.

Berat as a town was quite beautiful; all the old Ottoman style houses were white with brown trimmings and clumped together on ...
