The 16 hour flight was uneventful (other than being delayed by an hour leaving Pearson - they couldn't find a crew to load the plane after a huge thunderstorm). I find the effect on night and day fascinating whenever I fly over the Arctic. During the flight, we went from night to day to night and then finally back to day.

... train once again from the airport to Central station then took the hotel shuttle back to l'Hotel Island South. This time it was so much hotter and more humid. ... the viewing spot. We chose a good time to go up (around 5 pm) because that way you both get to see it in daylight and at nightime when everything is lit up (which is much cooler) and you can also see the sunset behind you.
