The people there were great. Had an interesting choice for breakfast that included toast and some spreads, a few different types of cereal and tea and coffee.

... to go to the supermarket and grab a few things first. We felt we wanted to say thankyou to Sir John as he kindly shouted us the entire lunch today. So we went and bought him some Scotch that he had mentioned he liked (in which the bar didn’t have any for him at the restaurant) and I bought some M&Ms for Annie just in case Lizzie didn’t succumb to the pressure, haha.

... and now Emirates (Arsenal's stadium), they are like monuments. The real difference between the Emirates and Trafford is that Emirates is surrounded by all residential area. Anyways so it was definitely a cool stadium… but more on the new side for sure as it was just built about 8 years ago.

After lunch we walked up the street and saw Sian waiting outside the theatre. A few minutes later Martin, Mia & Emma arrived. They had been on the London Eye that morning. Everyone said hello and then Una, Annie and Aiden arrived. Talk about good timing. So we collected our tickets and went to find our seats. We were in the Upper Stalls and had a great view of the stage.
