When I came out of the airport to get a cab to my hotel I was directed to a row of Pink Taxis. Turns out they are driven by women and for women only. Although they are allowed to carry men if they are with a woman. What a great idea.

And EVERY taxi driver here (male and female) wears a uniform.

... is because of the prices were beyond extortionate; a small bottle of water was 4, a coffee 6, a piece of fruit 4. It turned out that Dubai itself is just a rick kids playground we everything being extremely expensive! We figured that with the change in location of the club lounge, probably change of normal staff to club members and because of Ramadan, no one really knew what was going on or what was meant to be complimentary!

... it was at night, seriously stunning. We watched the music fountain display which was breathtaking and then scooted up the 200 floors in a lift that took a minute or two (10m per second...second fact of the day!). The views were amazing, I had to take back everything i said about it being a dissapointment! James also just reminded me that when I first saw the tower I commented that Big Ben was taller, I take that back too, I have done the research now.



This hotel, located on Immigration Road , Sharjah, is near Sharjah Aquarium, Al Qasba, Maritime Museum, and Sharjah Science Museum.
