... alcohol at restaurants in malls (there is some rule that only hotels are allowed). The food was amazing and so were the cocktails! It makes me very excited about visiting Spain on our europe trip. This week was my pay week so i got a cheque with my monthly pay. ... you're ever out this way. If I do get the chance to explore Dubai again I would make time for the City Bus tour, which I was sad to miss out on. Reports back from the other guests in the sundowner tour was that it took you all over the city from the gold souks, key architectural land marks, the palm tree, and so on. Very interesting I would assume.

... removed from the hotel guide!), but the young lady at hotel reception recommends another of their restaurants. It is Indian, and although I have raved about food in previous entries, it is 2.14 am and I need to be up in three and a half hours to catch a plane - let me just say that we agreed every Indian meal we have in the future will be judged by this one. Both the food and the service were impeccable!!!!

... A pair of glasses have been handed in, and can be collected from the bar at the rear of the plane." I remember taking my glasses off to change shirts, and putting them on the bench in the toilet, but not putting them back in my pocket. Hmmm, better check. Sure enough. Fortunately Philip was still down at the aft section and didn't have to do the walk of shame all the way to the back.

... in the pool playing with the girls - tiring, but good fun! We managed to get a good start on our tans as well! Quite good exercise with all the games, like 'what's the time Mr Shark!' The pool is amazing - so refreshing, because, you know, it's so hot out here and everything that the pool's actually chilled... The girls had a class late afternoon, so we went with Sadiq to drop them off, and then went on to the Mall of the Emirates to have a wander round - ...
