... up by Katarina and Gustav. And we drove to their house in Oakville outside Toronto. I got some home made food, for the first time since Uruguay. Delicious. And I had water to the food. ... since they were in the isle of food... Yet we are questioning whether they are for human or animal consumption. Next there is the lounge room, or... Corner that has a lounge. And then our room which finally has a warm bed, thanks to the landlord for the bigger mattress and the uni for taking us to IKEA so we could get a doonah. At IKEA we also got frozen yoghurt ( thick creamy soft serve ) and tasted rootbeer. It tasted just like cough medicine. Not so yum. ...

... is getting dimmer and dimmer so we head back toward the shops. I ask Jim to get me a bottle of water to rinse my feet because I hate the feeling of sand on them. He suggests ice cream and heads over to get both. With the disappearance of the last shard of light we get back into the car and head back to Hamilton. Once again it is the unexpected detour that ties the day together into one big happy memory.
