... After lunch the 5 of us went for a boat ride around Lake Garda which was beautiful. The captain even let each of the boys have a turn steering the boat which they thought was pretty cool. We were then going to go and have a look through a castle but it closed at 1pm! We didn't realize this and got there at 1.30pm. Oh well! ... but the kids loved it and even saw their favourite penguins of madagascar!!! Then all the boys went on the water log ride (not for me either!!) and the look on Luca's face was hilarious. Today we travelled from Moneglia to Bardolino, Lake Garda in northern Italy. We travelled through a 6 km one-way converted train tunnel to leave Moneglia. We missed the green light by 1 min and had to wait 20 mins before it was our turn!! It rained most of the 3.5 hours drive over fantastic autostrada's and it cost about €30 in tolls.
