      We are staying in a lovely 2 bedroom apartment here and our host Giovanni, has been most helpful with everything.
      Feeling slightly aghast that I seem to have forgotten every word of Italian that I ever learnt...oh dear!

      ... you could see the famous Sicilian mountain/volcano, Mt. Etna, as well as the sea with all the houses scattering the hillside. On our tour, we stopped at an Ancient Greek theatre nestled into the hills with this incredible, unbeatable view.       Last day had perfect weather. We went to an ancient theater with the casual Volcano as the background scenery. Mt. Etna was huge and beautiful. The monastery has a long history starting back with the Romans and has been shaped by volcanic lava, earthquakes and the recycling for modern uses.
