Homeward Bound
So today is our last day and we head off early for a marginally better flight home on Thomson than coming. However there is the same palaver with cabin baggage and we had to sit in the coach for an hour before we could check in. But home almost on time and all the luggage arrived and we are in one piece so a good outcome!

Unravelling Naples, or trying and failing
... Piazza Garibaldi, immediately adjacent to the central train station, is truly a baptism of fire. The clatter and thunder of the vast building site dominating the centre of the large square is only superseded by the raucous bustle of the people who rush, hustle and mill around this rectangular central transport hub. On all sides, the drab hotels sit squashed between tiny neon-signed cafés and tabacchi.

Today we did a walking tour of the city, which meant well over 10km of walking. The metro didn't seem quite as easy, so we just decided to walk. We visited the Duomo, Naples large cathedral, with lots of sculptures inside.
