Today was an early start, we had to leave Davis by 6am in order to drive to San Francisco, there was a fair bit of traffic in the bay area, but otherwise a pretty smooth journey (one wrong exit but we fixed that pretty quick!) We had two trolleys full of everyone's luggage, plus carry-on, car seat and stroller. When we boarded the plane the kids got a chance to go up to the cockpit, they even sat in the seats! ... was the worst month ever - the month Winter died !!
No grumpy old men in my house!! We found out we LOVE SNOW!! This has been an amazing experience that we will remember for the rest of our lives!!
... but...lots of fun too! The snow here is very different from the snow in California, it's more like the snow in Alaska, very dry! You can lay down, roll around in it & when you stand up, it blows right off!! You don't get wet & cold! We are going to have a blast here this winter!
