... was covered by Lake Manly as the glaciers in the area melted. The lake was a lush environment till it dried up about 10,000 years ago. It provided a permanent and later a seasonal habitat for the Indians. Today Indians live in the Timbisha Shoshone area and practice their traditional way of living.

... was beautiful as we watched the Bellagio waters go every so often.

Olives @ Bellagio - Another great restaurant with balconies on the side of the Bellagio fountain. The charcuterie board we had was so good with the various meats and cheeses but what stuck out for me was the pickled cucumbers (yes, not pickles but just picked cucumbers).

Nobu @ Caesars Palace - one of our new favourite Japanese restaurants! ...

... scrub than the scraping Nick and I had both had whilst in Hong Kong, where we were attacked with scalpels, knives and layer upon layer of dead footage was removed.

The other treat was to buy a cheapo watch and set it on GMT straight away, in an attempt to minimise the effects of jet-lag. Going west is easy, but in the past I have found going east less so. All of which means that it is now 20 past midnight and I need to get some sleep!

Arrived after a good flight,spent 11/2 hrs through immigration,finger prints photos etc,pity UK doesn't do the same.checked in hotel ,then to Kirstines for a couple of cold beers .Managed somehow to keep going to 9(5am Uk ) had feel ok this ...


This hotel, located in the Downtown/Fremont Street area of Las Vegas, is near The Neon Museum, Wee Kirk O' the Heather, Casino at the El Cortez Hotel, and Grand Canyon Helicopters.
