Las Vegas All of us completely sunburnt arrived into Las Vegas, ready to see the sights! It was so hot here, still 36 degrees at 7pm and such dry heat with it being in the middle of the desert. ... and began the drive across Death Valley National Park. It was a beautiful place after the sun came up and we were VERY VERY happy to no car problems at all!! On Saturday in Yosemite we at at close to 10,000 in elevation, then Sunday in Death Valley we were down to -190 ft below sea level! Drastic difference. Note:If you go to Death Valley National Park, get gas somewhere else...its 5.98 ...
