Although table manners are completely out of the window the fact that we would sit on the floor made it easier for us to take the kids out for 3 meals a day. As we are finding out how to do this “travelling with kids” business choosing restaurants seem to becoming a skill that we are acquiring. A relaxed atmosphere and room to move around is essential.

... br> Christmas and New Year were relatively quiet but we did have a few good parties with the regular crowd which usually ended up at Hawaii Beach Shack watching the fireworks display. I have enjoyed my six weeks in Goa and I'm sure I will return in the future. There is something about India that appeals to me. My next stage of my journey is a train trip to Kochi where I fly back to Malaysia and have a paying job for most of the year but more of that in my next blog.

If nothing else, we were excited to see what this party looked like. Even though it took us a bit to find the bar... we succeeded and what a sight. I tell ya, it is pretty hilarious to walk into a silent bar and see a bunch of people dancing their faces off when there ...

... gent took a few more turns tag teaming the facilities and I took my first warm shower of the trip (I wasn't actually that fussed about the warm showers as it was generally boiling hot anyway, but it was nice all the same). I knocked on the others door and Sander answered, he looked terrible. His eyes were bloodshot and watery. Now the inside of the toilets doors had recently been painted, the rooms smelt of paint and every ******* time I went to the toilet I forgot and got paint on ...

... streets free I guess similar to cats in England. There were also cows everywhere, walking the streets, In the fields, outside houses, just all over. The driving etiquette is to say the least quite interesting and unique, there are hundreds of mopeds and bikes, and everyone just seems to use both sides of the road whenever they feel like it. The horn is used constantly although not quite how you might think. It's not used in rage, more as a notification, when the taxi ...
