... CLT I ever put in my mouth. Lunch is over now it is time to hit the road.
We crossed the Catawba River and not only do we know the name, we can spell it. Well maybe we had a little spelling help from the sign identifying the river.
We listened to the Falcons game and they actually won. At least one of our teams won their game this weekend. Yeah...

... not the only ones parked like that. Go figure. So much for being lucky. We went a little farther and found another parking lot. Charles saw Scott Posey who he knows from business and they talked a while. At least Scott did. He is a talker. Off to the bookstore for lunch. They have food as well as other stuff. ... find the downtown area and see what type little shops they might have. I hope that is easier than finding the stadium. There has been some serious map reading today and it doesn't look like that will change any time soon. We found the downtown area and after much circling, found the life size bronze bull we had seen earlier.
Time to head back to the hotel to rest before dinner. Sightseeing just wears a person out.

... returned to school also so the yellow school buses have come out of storage and are regular vehicles on the roads, even in the city. We have had a great week relaxing and exploring while Cam has been at work. We have revisited places we went too back in 2010 and also others. We have had the car serviced ready for the next adventure and the caravan has also been serviced and had a general clean up. We will be ready to commence stage two in a few days. Durham's history ...
... the rehearsal dinner tonight. Was late. And was scolded for it! Mainly because Eric and I fell asleep and stayed that way til Steve rang. The ravages of travel.
An interesting institution - the rehearsal dinner - but useful for family who have:
A) never met
B) not seen each other for thirteen years
C) are unrelated but relevant to the wedding or
D) are hungry
to get together and be able to identify themselves.
