... was awful. More milk than coffee and only lukewarm at best! We have been going to the theatre productions on board and last nights was very good. It was a Cirque de Sole type production, with acrobatics, women and men hanging off swings in the midst of the audience. It was very well done and I believe even Rob may have enjoyed it. Especially the female contortionist. The body just SHOULDN'T move that way! ...

... places, taverna's & restuarants, and souvenier shops in it's summer peak it would be full of people but for now most things are closed up and not many people around. The steep hills rising from the sea were rocky & barren, the path I followed along from the end of the beach to the top of the cliffs was exposed which meant it felt hotter than the 22 degrees it was, I was glad to get back to the taverna for a cold drink. What a beautiful place - the Old Port with it's wide walkway, the Marina with it's variety of boats and all framed by a beautiful rock wall creating a breakwater. The gap into the port is quite narrow, lighthouse on one end and tower on the other.

OMG - found my new favourite taverna in Chania Crete. Hamam - on reccomendation from hotel I'm staying in, many taverna's here all touting for your business - gave the one offering me a free massage with my meal a miss, sleazbag! won't be going there, or the one that croons you have beautiful eyes, "where you from ?" .
Hamam was a beautiful restaurant, set in what was a Turkish Bath, marble floor with tables perched on ...
