... there. The park is quite large and you need to take a Hop-on, hop-off bus in between sites. We started right at the very top, with snow-capped mountains as the back-drop, and walked down amongst the various lakes and waterfalls. The colour of the lakes is a bright turquoise, and is so clear that you can see all the massive, old trees that lie at the bottom. They have been building a new road for a few years now that is set to cut the driving time into less than half, but the terrain is difficult (they have to drill dozens of tunnels through the mountains) and progress slow. It therefore took us 9 hours to drive the 430 kilometers.
