... meet a Shaolin Kung Fu Master. The students here range from 4-18 years old.
In the afternoon we visited the famous Shaolin Temple which is in the Songshan Mountain. It is the most reputable and longest standing temple in China and was the birthplace of Shaolin King Fu. In the temple we visited the main places and the Pagoda Forest. The Pagoda Forest is a cemetery for monks. They bury them in stupas ...

Zayne kept pointing and and saying something in Chinese over and over, so we finally asked our guide Tina what it was that he was saying, and turns out it was "get a picture of that!". Today was not as hectic as yesterday. We kicked it off at 6:30 with breakfast here at the Hilton, which really is great. They have all kind of foods, so besides filling us up and carrying us through lunch, we got to experiment with Zayne this morn. So far the findings are: he really likes meat - ribs, cold cuts, pork, beef, chicken, whatever. He does fairly well with fruit, and enjoys a nice cup of warm tea. He really does ...

... pasty soup with chicken), more pork steamed buns, some of Zackery's ravioli and some other snacks. He played til bedtime, around 9:00. Zackery and I hit the pool and hot tub for awhile. I'll let Z tell you that story, which he finds hilarious (mostly at my expense), tomorrow. All in all, I don't think we could have imagined the day having gone any better. Til then, good night from China. -- Mick
