... singing songs and playing games with the kids. Santa was even there! It's nice to celebrate the holiday here, but of course it's not the same as being at home with my family, with lots of snow outside and mom's Christmas cookies to eat. Wherever you are, however you celebrate, Merry Christmas everyone.

P.S. It may be a while before I write again, not until after my winter holiday, but I will have some good travel stories and photos to share! Happy new year 2015!

Some really got into it, Nd it was a nice change of pace for a Monday :) I got videos of my classes. I'll post pics :) because I teach English I let them practicing ...

... the winter, you must use lights to kill these things. At that point it made sense, as there was an outbreak of chicken pox and shingles at that school, most likely due to the lack of water and proper sanitation for nearly a week... Last weekend I was able to go to the plant market it is not far from my house. It is a huge ware house building past the Tea District and let me tell you there is so many things to buy and see. From flower arrangements and plants to fine ...

Last weekend a couple of friends and I decided to go to the arts and cultural centre in Zhengzhou to check out their theatre show. It was a variety of things from Broadway dancing, Chinese dancing, singing, and the finale which was tight rope walking. The show was good, but it was nothing like what I am use to. People are always talking, up walking around and drinking! You sat at booths with tables and a waiter came around serving alcohol and snacks. When the singers were done every ...
