... down to watch the people go by. Often, we became the object of scrutiny by the Chinese tourists. We met the rest of the group back in the hotel lobby for our evening adventure. ... and we couldn’t do much until the other guys got there, so we just hung out in the lounge area. By the time they got to the hostel, they were tired too. We decided to go to the convenient store, get some beers, and bring them back to the hostel and drink, relax and talk with the people. We went to bed nice and buzzed.

... typical meals that a Chinese person would eat, how do they all stay so skinny (they really are) and yet eat all this oily food?
In regards to how I've been keeping myself I know I'm getting smaller, although it may be because I do next to no exercise here... I miss my basketball...
Any way. In conclusion food in China is AMAZING, and it is nothing like take out Chinese anywhere else. I think I'd like to live in China just so I can always eat the food :)

... found what he was looking for! Haha. We ended up getting him a couple cheap but decent and correctly sized t-shirts and I lucked out with a tank top on sale all at the first place.

Later we caught a bus to a mall in the center of Chengdu which was a mistake because everything was all too expensive (little boutique clothing shops). They follow you around like puppies in the stores waiting to help and in one store the girl following me ran away for a second and came back ...
