... are nice parks, people dancing in the streets and Kim's favourite many Starbucks.

We decided to rent an apartment, that was cheaper then most, if not all the hotels in the city, besides of course the hostels. We were not disappointed as the room is large and well equipped. It will be a nice staging point to explore the rest of the city, see the pandas and venture out to the national parks in the next couple days.

After 2 and a half hours of screaming children and car horns we finally arrived in Emei city. Luckily for an extra 5 RMB the bus would take us to Baoguo Temple, the starting point for most people climbing the mountain.
Hoping to get back the next day I decided to start walking and try to make good time. I ...

... Winnie, who we met in class cooked dinner for 8 of us. A friend I have named Claire came to Chengdu with us on Saturday and spent the day showing us around and helping us with shopping and taxi rides. They are all so incredibly sweet!

Taylor and I have also been the most adventurous of the bunch with trying the street food. We found out that in the evenings(starting around 10pm) a whole bunch of food vendors come out and cook AMAZING stuff. A ...
