... for an English tour because half the fun of the ride is the witty/bad jokes and commentary. Our tour guide quickly got very annoyed as we boarded our boat because she was encouraging us to take a seat in the middle crate on the boat.
"Sit in the widdle! Please sit in the widdle" don't think it was an intentional joke but it made us giggle.
Something that is also fun about Hong Kong Disneyland is the fact that the staff get given the option to choose their western name, this ...

We had a leisurely morning over coffee and then met friends of Amy and Michael's for a delicious DimSum brunch. Michael kept ordering and the rest of us kept eating! Their friends are a Canadian couple who live in Bali. He works for a spa company and he is responsible for all spa services excluding the US market. First week I mainly wandered locally, even ventured on the Star Ferry to see the other island. It is a very surreal ...

... for the meal we had !. After dinner, even though we were exhausted, we headed out to see what is apparently the well-know night market. One street away from the street market we'd visited in the morning, we found over 1000 vendors lining the street, with a path about 4' wide between them which was filled with way more people than it could comfortably hold. Behind the vendors on both sides of the streets were the narrow 4' sidewalk, and all the dingy ...

I woke up to sun shining, horns honking and bells ringing at the railway station that was directly across the street from the hostel at ten o'clock this morning. I walked downstairs to the market and bought a bunch of candy, snacks and bakery items (such as big sugar cookies that were super yummy and heart shaped pastries.) After packing up and checking out of the hostel, Christine and I explored Tiananmen Square. It was such a weird feeling ...
