    ... ona had to speak to a girl on the phone who explained what he was doing, strange....out of nerves we presume he upgrades us to an executive suite! Talk about fancy! Running around the coridors with excitement we finally said goodnight, the boys took advantage of the lush big bath, while us girlies chose our delectably comfy beds and sleep! Facebook, instagram, Google, everything is blocked here...that'll take some getting used to. Until tomorrow Clíona, Miriam, Des & Cian ...

    ... to find somewhere for a drink and celebrate! We also planned on grabbing a bottle at duty free to celebrate back at the hotel. We were finished this part! What kind of Duty Free shops do not sell alcohol??!! Nothing! Lot of perfume and makeup but no vodka! Oh well, they have an Irish Pub; Excellent! No Guinness or even Harp. Not even a draught tap (these Chinese need to learn a few things!). OK, 3 Buds and 3 Jameson’s please. Funny not understanding look…He ...

    ... EVERY DAY around 18:00 - 19:00. Ticket prices are around 300 - 400 RMB for 1st class in 2 bed compartments.
    I recommend to take 1st class one if possible. Not that it makes a lot of a difference but when you get on the boat you will start to remember the Titanic movie and then it might make you feel better knowing you are one of the upper deck guests.... we only could get a 2nd class 4bed ...

    ... three occasions Lewis came within about an inch of hitting a car or a pole. As
    far as I could tell (and I can’t tell very well) I never heard him curse one
    time. It was quite a driving performance.

    When we got to the pier, it had turned out to be a beautiful day. To get to the restaurant we had to get a ride in a small dinghy. We ate at an open-air restaurant looking out on the bay.

    ... for tea. Her name is Jane and she was a college roommate of Belinda's. They hadn't seen each other for five years. Jane brought us a specialty dish of the area made with coconut milk and we drank Kung Fu tea, which is named for the tea service set you drink out of. The tea was Guan Yin tea, which is the name of the Buddha Goddess we visited yesterday. Next destination, LiuGao High School, Liuzhou. We made it. Gene and I are in our apartment. I need a nap and will write again ...
