Don't come to China unless you are OK with the fact that sometimes you will organise a driver to pick you up and a motorbike will show up instead... or a friend will offer to give you a lift home and fail to mention that they mean on their motorbike.     ... at 7am to be greeted by 30 degree heat between the plane and the terminal building. Our bags collected we found the taxi rank and made our way to the hostel. Luckily we weren't any later arriving as the owner was about to go to the dentist! The van headed to a restaurant for lunch and on to Xinglong to see a Medicinal Botanical Garden and book in a hotel for the night.     Hainan is Belinda's hometown. It is an island in the South China Sea and is called the 'Hawaii of the East'. It's not industrial, but profits from agriculture and tourism.
