    ... pest. One morning, I woke up with so many bites, I might as well have had the chicken pox! In England, my mum and I always have a joke going about who gets bitten first when the hot weather starts, well mum, I think I have won this year by quite a considerable distance. Susan has given me some Chinese medicine spray which does work to an extent but its not the nicest of smells, especially when I am about to fall asleep.

    ... of chairs. Seriously, the stools were about 3/4 the size of a coke bottle. It seems like tiny stools are the standard seating choice for poor Chinese areas. Though she overcharged us a little (still incredibly cheap by American currency), the meal was great the woman was even better.

    ... incentive to go there. We visited the campus two weeks ago; it's nice, much nicer than Loudi's campus. Although it's around 20-30 minutes from the city center by bus, the campus is large and well put together.

    ... Chengdu was coming down to visit. That night we went out to a good bar with an absolute ton of foreigners...about 10.     Words can not describe this place - the best description would be the 3rd Pirates of the Carribeen film. Stilt houses and the people are so freindly. Mainly Chinese i was the only westerner that i saw. This place is hidden up in the mountains. The poor people here probably have never been on a bus as half the bus were getting sick. I was the water dispenser for the bus. ...
