... and confused as she came out from behind the counter, took me to the elevator and the 15th floor and pointed to the hotel. I gave my reservation paper to the lady and they had a record of me arriving. Nevertheless, they also spoke no English but used their iPhones to translate. In the end, I made it to a beautiful room that actually has a proper shower, more than the usual tiny bit of toilet paper, and a bed that isn't as hard as most typical Chinese beds.
