... extended visa. As promised by the officer, the passport was ready to be picked up at 4pm. Bunch of other travelers were there early, looking all anxious. I had no problem what so ever, but two German travelers had some sort of complications. It is important to note that a 30 day extension is given from the date you enter the PBS requesting for the extension. It doesn't get added on to whatever days remaining on your previous visa. ...

... where I counted 14 cops standing inside the contraption doing paperwork, talking to locals and making calls. The building had many different sections, everything was in Chinese, so I have no idea what for, but I am guessing the usual, visas, ids and so on.

Finally at 5pm I was free to leave. I was put on a bus whilst my agent boarded another bus. Apparently I was on my way back to Chengdu. My bus hit traffic 20minutes into the journey and we sat and sat and sat. ...
