... the river. From one riverside cafe, you can sit down with a warm beer and admire the big Buddha rock carving across the river. The river flow is quite fast, possibly from all the spring snow melt from the Tibetan mountain range to the west. I thought my camera would be no use for my evening walk. I was wrong. ... where I counted 14 cops standing inside the contraption doing paperwork, talking to locals and making calls. The building had many different sections, everything was in Chinese, so I have no idea what for, but I am guessing the usual, visas, ids and so on.
