    Guiyang Findings:



    • Dont go to Guiyang, especially if it's raining.


    • 24million Chinese and 2 English Foreigners! Now we know what it feels like to be stared at every day.


    • Although sometimes dodgy, the Chinese can also serve the freshest food on markets (check out the pictures at the bottom).


    • After at least 5 experiences on long drops/ squat toilets I still dont understand why the chinese prefer this ...

    ... the students would take us shopping and then demonstrate home cooking for Pat.

    And they all passed the Official National English exam with good results.

    It was great seeing Charlie and Wayne again. Charlie organised for Yvonne another of my students to ring me from Beijing. Yvonne was a great cook and all of the students would follow her instructions. She had a wonderful calm aura about her.

    ... don't cross the streets anymore it is all underground walkways (some with shops)



    When we reached the centre of town and looked back up the street as we had done in the past the difference was palpable as you can see in the pics



    A play with some tops in the park concluded a memory laden wander. Sam thinks that I spin a mean top, especially when I lashed it with the rope.
