Today we took a trip to see how green and black tea is processed. It was pretty amazing. Each tea leaf is picked individually by hand (by about 200 workers). There is a specific criteria for the leaves that must be followed about size and when they are picked. It is all pretty fascinating. After lunch we went to the ...

I was told where there was a Confucius temple to visit. Around the temple was a canal with boats and other tourist attractions. I walked around and took some pictures. I visited an old house and the Confucius temple. While I was taking pictures from ...

On Thursday morning we were informed that Thursday night the school was preparing a dinner for us. The dinner was to celebrate 3 things - Mid Autumn Festival, Teachers Day, and our arrival in Yixing. The school was going to be closed on Monday for the Mid Autumn Festival, so I made plans with one of the other Americans to visit Beijing over the weekend.

Unfortunately, I had to go to Nanjing on Friday morning for my ...
