I found what I thought was the central train station, climbed up a gazillion stairs, then found it was closed. Irritated some more, I went to the bus station, where they didn't have any buses leaving for Changsha tonight. Ugh. Many people visit this as part of their Yangtze River cruise but we thought we would visit the cheap tourist way and take the bus. We came to Zhongxiang intent on seeing the Huangxian cave. As Zhongxiang is not very touristy, getting out there off season wasn't as easy as going to the dam in Yichang. Apparently its a city with a long history, as least that is what peope kept telling us.. So slightly lost about how to get about with our quest, we asked at our local breakfast place.
