... van Macau en wordt vandaag de dag gebruikt als waarschuwingsbaken bij typhonen. Een mooi uitzicht en het weer was prima. Vervolgens naar de oudste en meest interessante tempel; de Kun Lam tempel gegaan toen de avond aanbrak. Een mooie tempel met een duidelijk andere stijl dan de tempels in China. In mijn terugtocht naar het hostel nog een markt (altijd fascinerend) bezocht en wat gegeten. Morgen reis ik weer per bus naar China; eerst Guangzhou en dan door naar Guilin. Macau was super!

... templo A-Ma no topo das montanhas da ilha. O templo � muito interessante, vivendo-se as imagens que normalmente s� vemos na TV em Portugal.
A Natacha foi uma excelente guia durante todo o dia, contando-nos hist�rias sobre a cidade e os seus costumes. A festa das crian�as estava a terminar e n�s queriamos ainda ir visitar o Casino "Venetian" pelo que, resolvemos combinar encontrar-nos para jantar pelas 20h.

O Casino "Venetian" � enorme, com v�rios pisos e diversas salas ...

From Hong Kong we drove across the bridge to Lantau Island on our way to Po Lin Monastery, founded in 1906. The trip begins with a 3 mile cable car ride across the bay and up the side of a mountain. Train and I decided to splurge for the glass bottomed cable car (courtesy of the Wynn Macau) so we could see everything on the way up.
