Datong

Well there aint much to Datong. I chose to come here as there are some Buddha statues in caves. A hanging Monastery and I'm hoping that we will see the Great Wall of China.

... for both), siesta and gym...little else to do and we are beyond doing any more shopping or walking given the coal soot and the cloudy weather. So good we have a top hotel to rest and get strength for the final push.

We both agree we are now ready to get back to London and our anonymity - we will probably be asking people to stare at us and take pictures with us in a few weeks, but now we are looking forward to resting our souls at home.
