The peaks aren't so much mountains, but are more like very steep tall hills. They surround the city and are very picturesque. First we went to Daxiangshan, or Elephant Mountain. ... I don't speak mandarin, let alone Yao, so I didn't really know, except for the gestures. One thought I had very big calves as she proceeded to bend down, and grab my calf! They really appreciate strong calves as they are constantly walking up and down. Anyways, it was beautiful area.Very peaceful. The rice is a bit more adevanced, so it was closer to being ripe, which means we had some nice golden colour and could see the terraces even better.

The park itself was quite beautiful and there was a nice view of the city from the top of the mountain. After that I was pretty tired still from the trip. So I headed back to the Hostel to play some pool and have a couple beer before turning in.
