A Chinese Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving America! Hope y'all are enjoying the turkey and the mistletoe and whatnot. Emma's first Thanksgiving with us was a great one! She is really getting more comfortable with us and it's very noticeable. She'll let anyone hold her and play with her just about all the time. As long as she's not playing with her new lego blocks, when she's into those, there's nobody else in the room but her and the blocks. Legos are in. Spoons are so yesterday.

That's quite a pavilion you got there
... you consider McDonald's exquisite. It sure was a nice change, though. To be honest, I am getting a little sick of Chinese food. I won't be eating Pei Wei for a couple months after we get back, that's for sure. I will miss this place, however. It's been one heck of a trip so far, and we still got a couple more days here. Everybody Nanchang tonight
... of course is her trying to say Aaron. After some time at the hotel, we went out on the town on a trip to the supermarket and got to see a little more of Nanchang (pronounced Nan Chung). It's a city about the size of Atlanta, 4 million people, and its warm enough here to go outside without a jacket. Pretty nice. It's a cool city with lots of unique buildings and sites.
I wasn't going to mention this because I thought I was imagining it, but there's no denying ...

Nanchang, Chinese but funky
... dit eigenlijk was! Toch zijn we hier geen enkele westerling tegen gekomen! Ook waren de mensen in de stad niet gewend aan ons als buitenlanders! Dit leverde veel grappige momenten op. Zo werd er bij het busstation een uitgebreide fotoshoot gemaakt van alles wat we deden; van wat drinken halen tot het inchecken van het kaartje!(tot ergernis van sommige:P) Vanaf dit bus station zijn we naar Luotiancun gegaan, een 1120 jaar oud dorpje in ...
