    ... br> Later, Karena and I left Ahava to return to the dorm. It shocked us that outside was not smoggy due to the wind blowing it away. Yet, it was getting dark quickly. We walked to 7-eleven since I wanted a rice ball as a snack. After paying, we returned to the dorm.

    ... 10 families to one house., They do not have bathrooms or toilets and the area is dotted with public toilets and people walking down the streets in their pyjamas to go to them (and from the smells not always making it!). Luckily our hotel , which is in one of the old courtyard houses, has en-suite bathrooms and is very nice and full of character and the hutongs are quite interesting to walk through - in daylight at least.
