    ... walls and it was very traditional Chinese. The palace was very long and was very different and interesting. It had a lot of original halls where leaders once sat dating as far back as 1420. Finally towards the end of the city was the traditional gardens of the palace with very unsual tree's and little rooms built into rocks. This is a great bit of history to Beijing and a must visit!     ... was an orange orb fighting through the gray span of smog that was the sky. Then, yesterday, when we were in Beida, I saw blue when I looked up! It was the same today, but it was just boiling. I'll have to make sure I'm drinking more water.

    Anyway, after the second temple, the group decided to go and visit one more site. Though tired, I was more than happy to go on one more excursion to Emperor Jingtai's tomb. And... what an adventure that was.
