I've traveled standby on United Airlines for 24 years, having flown on more than 530 UA flights. I’d thought I’d seen it all. But today I experienced being downgraded aboard a flight for the first time – and am left to wonder what actually transpired to cause that bizarre event to occur. I can only conclude that the flight crew probably improperly gave my suite to a friend, lover, or relative.

... roofs rises to the sky. The Emperors came here to pray for a bountiful harvest. There were other beautiful buildings, but none as beautiful as the Temple of Heaven.

We enjoyed watching a young bride and groom having their pictures taken. Her gown was gorgeous, creamy white with blue accents and he in a cream colored suit. The beautiful blue roofs of the temple made a fabulous background. Mary said they must be very rich. Evidently, couples have their pictures ...

... Beijiing two nights ago on an overnight flight from Helsinki which we didn't end up getting any sleep on unfortunately.. So we were pretty trashed on our first day. After a quick nap we visited the Lama Temple a beautiful Buddhist temple and watched people burning their incense prayers to all the weird and wonderful statues. We then explored the Nanluogu Xiang Hutong admiring all the tea and silk shops.

... totally ****!! After embarrassing ourselves for a game we admitted defeat and sat down to watch the locals play. When I say locals these people were probably the equivalent of the British Olympians - it was ridiculous! They were lighting fast and the ball sliced through the air at a crazy speed!!
