After lunch we headed to the Beijing zoo which was a treat in itself. We quick sprinted to the main attraction of the Beijing Zoo, the giant pandas. There are several pandas in both outdoor and indoor enclosures and they are the treat of the zoo. One really has to push in to get a good picture as everyone wants to get a look at the rare creatures.

We had a great lunch (green beans were awesome) and then went on a Hutong tour. Seeing the changes in the area was memorable. Things are cleaner and modernised . The Olympics have really picked up this city. The a Temple of Heaven was neat and we ended the afternoon in ...

Teenagers choose their daring fashion; grandmothers hangout together to comment on the younger generation's fashion, which often includes the phrase "Isn't she cold?" (even though it is at least 80 degrees).
Aside from the girly-ishness of the clothing, there ...
