The real highlight of my week was during the weekend, when we were invited to go stay for a couple of days at Barry's house in 余姚(Yuyao), which is about 50 km west of Ningbo. On Saturday afternoon, Eric, Patrick and I all made our way to the Ningbo train station and booked a ...

The others (Hayden, Becky, Hannah, Luis and Antonia) had arrived earlier in the day but by the time we'd gone for supper at Yummy on the way back to building 18 they'd crashed out from the jet lag and travelling all day. We saw them all on Tuesday when we caught up over supper and told them ...

The medical college was nice enough to set up a trip to Yandang Mountain for all of us American students. Three of the Chinese students came with us too. The mountain is about an hour or so outside of Wenzhou and is a UNESCO site, so I really excited to see it after being ...
