Today we visited an area that I had only seen on Pinterest! It was amazing. Temples, walkways and shrines, as well as hotels all clinging to the sides of the mountains...we climbed up and down numerous stairs leading to very decorative temples. It certainly gave our hearts a workout...we did about 16,000 steps today... That was before it started to rain! Well we were actually back in town ...

... travelling with all their worldly possession apart from the kitchen sink, and in some instance with it. So mum pinches my middle seat and then next thing i know is I am being assaulted by my very heavy rucksack which has fallen off the parcel shelf and hit my on the head (which did have sunglasses on it at the time). I was beyond happy that we were finally get to return to Beijing. However, we did get to check out the peak we were supposed to see the day before. I chose to take the bus there because I was not in the mood to walk.

The peak itself was stunning and the sun was out.

We then got on the bus to Beijing.

At a gas station, our bus cut in front of a huge truck. So crazy how ...

After checking out of the hotel, we stayed in the lobby until it was time to leave. As we were waiting, Brady, Ian, and I shopped at the scarf store across from our hotel. I brought a couple of scarves for Olivia and Mohini as gifts.
